5月20日，学校与中国华电集团发电运营柬埔寨有限公司（以下简称“柬埔寨公司”）共同开展以“一带一路上的中国华电”为主题的公众开放日活动。学校对外交流中心、水利工程系、电力工程系、机电工程系等6个分会场500余名师生“云”参观柬埔寨额勒赛下游水电站。
On May 20, the school and China Huadian Power Generation Operation Cambodia Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cambodia company") jointly carried out a public open day activity with the theme of "China Huadian along the belt and road". More than 500 teachers and students from six sub venues, including the school's foreign exchange center, the Department of hydraulic engineering, the Department of electrical engineering, and the Department of mechanical and electrical engineering, visited the lower reaches of the elesai hydropower station in Cambodia.
师生们通过讲解员的现场介绍以及观看宣传短片，了解了柬埔寨公司的成立背景、发展情况以及取得的成就。跟随讲解员的镜头，参观了额勒赛下游水电站上坝、下坝运行情况。此外，柬埔寨公司的校友与同学们进行了“云”互动，分享了在柬埔寨工作、生活、学习等方面的情况，对同学们提出的问题进行了一一解答。同学们不仅对柬埔寨公司、额勒赛下游水电站有了深入了解，还拓宽了自己的就业途径。
The teachers and students learned about the establishment background, development and achievements of the Cambodian company through the commentator's on-site introduction and watching the promotional video. Following the camera of the commentator, I visited the operation of the upper and lower dam of the lower reaches of the eresai hydropower station. In addition, the alumni of Cambodian company had a "cloud" interaction with the students, shared their work, life, study and other aspects in Cambodia, and answered the questions raised by the students one by one. Students not only have an in-depth understanding of Cambodian companies and the lower reaches of El Xai hydropower station, but also broaden their employment channels.
此次线上公众开放日活动得到了学校师生的一致好评，学生们纷纷表示，在校期间要学好专业知识，掌握专业技能，毕业后要积极加入境外企业，让更多的海外员工了解中国水电技术，争做“一带一路”倡议的践行者。

据悉，华电额勒赛项目是中国华电在境外最大的水电项目，总装机容量338MW，2014年7月15日项目进入商业运营。华电额勒赛项目投产即实现了“远程集控、少人值班”的运行模式，并实现了通过互联网对机组实时运行信息监视的功能。自中国华电额勒赛下游水电站投产以来，累计为柬埔寨提供了超过85亿度清洁能源，创造了数百个工作岗位，为柬埔寨实现电力自主供应和经济发展作出了突出贡献。
It is reported that Huadian elesai project is the largest hydropower project of Huadian overseas, with a total installed capacity of 338mw. The project entered commercial operation on July 15, 2014. Huadian elesai project has realized the operation mode of "remote centralized control and few people on duty" and the function of monitoring the real-time operation information of the unit through the Internet. Since the downstream hydropower station of China Huadian elesai was put into operation, it has provided Cambodia with more than 8.5 billion degrees of clean energy, created hundreds of jobs, and made outstanding contributions to Cambodia's independent power supply and economic development.
