On April 27th, GVCWRE successfully held the Guangxi Water Resource Engineering Workshop Cloud Unveiling Ceremony in collaboration with the Philippine Cebu Technological University(CTU). GVCWRE Vice President Liu Cunxiang and CTU Vice President Robert Jay Angco attended the plaque unveiling ceremony. Directors from the International Exchange Center, the Academic Affairs Office, and relevant departments of both institutions also attended the ceremony.
Vice President Liu Cunxiang, in his speech, expressed his hope to leverage the Guangxi Water Resource Engineering Workshop to deepen exchanges and cooperation in skill exchange, student joint training, faculty visits, and academic communication. He emphasized the importance of strengthening understanding, communication, and mutual learning to cultivate traditional friendships and promote cultural exchanges among young scholars from both institutions.
Vice President Robert Jay Angco highlighted the honor of establishing fruitful cooperation with our school. He expressed his desire to use this collaboration as an opportunity to enhance inter-school exchanges and engage in diverse and enriching educational activities. He further emphasized the importance of promoting mutual learning and exchange among students and faculty members of both universities.
During the cooperative discussion session, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding technical training in water resource and electric power, as well as academic exchanges. Subsequently, with the witness of the attendees, Vice President Liu Cunxiang and Vice President Robert Jay Angco signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their collaboration. Then, they unveiled the plaque for the "Guangxi Water Resource Engineering Workshop together."
GVCWRE will fully leverage its characteristics and expand cooperation and exchanges with overseas schools and institutions. It will focus on building the international brand of the "Guangxi Water Resource Engineering Workshop" and implement projects such as international talent development, overseas vocational skills training, and professional technical services. GVCWRE aims to effectively implement various aspects of collaboration, solidify internationalization in education and talent development, and enhance its international influence.
