On March 15th, the 2022 Annual Conference and Commendation Conference of the Foreign Student Education Management Professional Committee of the Guangxi Higher Education Association was held at Liuzhou City Vocational College. Leaders and teachers from the International Cooperation and Exchange Offices of 43 universities in the region, as well as the School of International Education, attended this meeting. Li Changni, the director of our school's Foreign Exchange Center, and a delegation of three representatives attended the conference.
At the conference, experts shared and exchanged experiences on the quality certification of higher education for international students coming to China. Professor Qin Chengqiang, Chairman of the Guangxi Society for Retention and Management, and Dean of the International College of Guangxi University, delivered a report on the 2022 annual summary and 2023 work plan of the Guangxi Society for Retention and Management, and announced that our school had become one of the 43 member units of the Guangxi Society for Retention and Management.
During the meeting, the attendees visited Liuzhou City Vocational College and participated in the Guangxi University Retention Staff Exchange Conference and the Foreign Chinese Teacher Exchange Conference, discussing and exchanging ideas on international student management and Chinese language education and teaching.
Through this meeting, the school's Foreign Exchange Center learned advanced experience and practices in the management of studying abroad and Chinese language teaching from other universities in the area, and had in-depth exchanges with the management cadres and teachers of studying abroad from other universities in the area. This accumulated experience for the school to carry out international student enrollment, teaching, management, and service work, and also improved the professional ability of the school's management of foreign students' study in China.
