In response to China's "Belt and Road" initiative and to serve the construction of the China-ASEAN community of shared future, GCWE and Vietnam's Central Region College of Technology, Economics and Water Resources. (hereinafter referred to as "CTEW") jointly held an online seminar on July 16th. The seminar was attended by Luo Xianke, Secretary of the Party Committee of GCWE; Lê Ngọc Viên, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CTEW; and Nguyễn Ngọc Thế, Vice President of CTEW.
On behalf of GCWE, Luo Xianke extended a warm welcome and sincere greetings to the guests attending the meeting. He noted that the friendly cooperation between the two institutions dates back to the mid-1980s with teacher exchange programs. He expressed hope to expand this cooperation into areas such as international student education, resource sharing, and skills training.
Lê Ngọc Viên introduced the development history and teaching philosophy of CTEW. He pointed out that this meeting laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two sides, expressing hope to promote mutual development through joint student training and sharing of educational resources.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in lively discussions on topics including international student education, faculty exchanges, and technical training. Li Changni, Director of the Foreign Exchange Center, provided a detailed introduction to the GCWE's international student programs, covering aspects such as academic programs, career prospects, application procedures, and scholarship policies. She addressed questions from CTEW's leaders and faculty, and extended a warm welcome to Vietnamese students interested in studying at GCWE.
