During the Lunar New Year 2024, Guangxi Vocational College of Water Resources and Electric Power celebrated with a series of events aimed at both marking the Lunar New Year and promoting the rich heritage of China's traditional culture. I. Traditional Chinese Culture Fair
The college pulled off a spectacular Traditional Chinese Culture Fair at the student community centers on Changgang and Lijian campuses. This fair, steeped in traditional culture, attracted over 2,000 students. The community squares buzzed with stalls showcasing traditional games and students in Hanfu, creating a vibrant throwback to ancient times. The Fair included more than ten cultural activities like Hanfu dressing, face painting, calligraphy, and archery, transporting students into an enchanting scene straight out of a folklore tale. This festival fostered a joyful and harmonious atmosphere on campus, allowing students to deeply experience the allure of traditional Chinese culture and strengthening their sense of belonging and pride in their heritage.

II. " Warmth of Water and Power” Cultural Event
Hosted by the Party General Branch of the School of Economics and Management and the Logistics Party General Branch, the "Warmth of Water and Power" event showcased the beauty of life and traditional culture through activities like dumpling making, canvas bag painting, paper cutting, scratch art, and sharing dumplings and stories. President Li Lin, alongside teachers, students, and international students, engaged in these activities, enhancing teacher-student interactions and allowing everyone to experience the rich heritage of traditional Chinese culture in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

III."Set Sail on a New Journey - Endeavoring for a New Chapter" Celebration
To conclude the semester, the college organized the "Set Sail on a New Journey - Endeavoring for a New Chapter" celebration, highlighted by international students' performance of "the Dance of Bamboo Slips," a segment from the song and dance drama "Confucius." This added a profound cultural element to the celebration, showcasing the depth of Chinese culture. Such cultural exchanges not only deepened the understanding of traditional Chinese culture among local students but also gave international students a close-up experience of its unique allure.
