From November 19th to 20th, the first online training course for improving teachers' international ability, jointly organized by the Guangxi Vocational College of Water Resources and Electric Power and the International Education Research Institute, opened successfully. Liu cunxiang, the vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony. The teaching staff from Quality Supervision Department, Information Technology Department, Publicity Department and other administrative departments, 106 full-time teachers from various departments attended the training.
Liu Cunxiang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He welcomed the teachers who actively participated in the training course and thanked the guests who were invited to give lectures. He stressed that the college pay highly attention to develop the team of teaching staff, and especially to improve the international exchange ability of teachers. He expressed his hope that the teachers will strengthen their studies, expand their horizons, change their perspectives, and effectively enhance their international capabilities.
In the first training session, the lecturers are Professor Jin minjiu and Professor Yin Tianxi from South Korea. The training topics were "What is AI?" And "Marketing & Innovation". Through the training, the teachers developed a better understanding of the history and future trends of artificial intelligence, as well as the concepts and characteristics of marketing model innovation. Although affected by the pandemic, the training could only be carried out online. The teachers demonstrated strong interest and actively participated in the online training and after-class interactive Q&A sessions. The training achieved great effects.
A total of 5 online training seminars will be held in this training session, including knowledge of artificial intelligence, marketing and innovation, software engineering, and machine learning based on big data, providing rich cross-field content, constantly creating an international atmosphere, and enhancing the international vision of the faculty.
