From February 16th to 18th, the 23rd China International Education Annual Conference and Exhibition organized by China Education International Exchange Association, was held at Beijing International Convention Center. The theme of this conference is "Adaptation and Change - Reshaping Our Education". Education policy makers, experts and scholars, industry elites, and business leaders from various countries gathered together to discuss international education cooperation plans and to jointly draw a blueprint for the development of international education. Our school's Foreign Exchange Center participated in this annual conference and exhibition.
On the morning of February 17th, China International Education Annual Conference and Exhibition Plenary Session was grandly held. Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of Party Group and Minister of China Education Ministry, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. He emphasized that win-win cooperation is the main theme of the development of the times, and countries should plan and follow the trend, firmly grasp the trend of the times, strengthen cooperation confidence, and continuously enhance the resilience of education development. Huai Jinpeng proposed three initiatives: first, fully utilize the positive role of the mechanism platform and closely cooperate in education. Second, comprehensively deepen cooperation in digital education and promote modernization of education. Third, conduct extensive exchanges and mutual learning, and consolidate the foundation of cooperation.
At the annual meeting, our School's Foreign Exchange Center participated in the main forum of the International Seminar on vocational education, the Seminar on co-discussion, co-creation, and sharing - cross border vocational education, and China-Britain Cooperative Education Seminar, focusing on topics such as education digitization, foreign cooperative education, and overseas education. The seminar released two authoritative reports, "CEAIE 2022 Report on the Internationalization Development of Vocational Colleges - Research on the Current Situation of foreign Cooperative Education in Higher Vocational Education" and "Practice Guide and Case Analysis of Overseas Education in Vocational Colleges", to provide useful references for the formulation and implementation of internationalization strategies in vocational colleges.
During the exhibition at China International Education Exhibition Beijing Station, the Vocational Education and Training Department of the China Association for International Exchange of Education and our School's Foreign Exchange Center conducted in-depth exchanges and provided specific guidance on the school's international exchange work. At the same time, the school's Foreign Exchange Center actively carries out negotiations and establishes partnerships with national universities such as Mahasalakan University in Thailand, Peter the Great Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Auckland Polytechnic University in New Zealand.
By participating in this annual meeting, we have broadened the channels for international cooperation and exchange among schools, clarified the ideas for international talent cultivation, cooperative education, international professional standards and curriculum system construction, and promoted a new pattern of school education opening up and development in the post pandemic era.
